Campground Rules & Regulations


We are pleased to host you at our campground. For your safety and comfort, we have adopted the following rules and regulations. By staying at the campground, you agree to abide by these rules and regulations, which are also posted on our website and at the check-in location. We reserve the right to evict any person without a refund for failure to adhere to these rules and regulations, which shall be determined in our sole and absolute discretion.

Check In / Check Out: You are required to check-in upon your arrival. Check-in time begins at 2 pm. Check-out time is 12 pm. If you wish to continue your stay, please check reservation availability for your site, or reserve and move to another available site. If late check-out is available, a fee will apply.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are 10 pm to 8 am. There will be no-check-ins at this time. Outside of quiet hours, remain considerate of your fellow campers and our neighbors at all times. No generators are allowed to be used on the premises at any time unless there is a power failure. Please keep music and other noise contained within your campsite.
Recreational Vehicles: Only RVs with their own bathrooms are allowed on the premises at this time. All campers must be in good condition regarding maintenance and appearance. One tent allowed per campsite with RV for an additional charge.
Pets: Leashed pets are welcome but must be attended to at all times, including inside RVs. Campers are responsible for immediately cleaning up after their pets. No aggressive animals or breeds of animals are allowed, and all pets must be current with inoculation shots. Limit 2 pets per campsite.
Parking: Only 2 vehicles (in addition to the RV) are allowed per site, and they must fit within it. No parking is allowed on the roads. Additional overflow parking is located in the designated area at the entrance to the campground.
Site Occupancy: There is a maximum of 8 overnight guests per campsite. Rates include 2 adults and any children under 18. Any additional guests 18 and over will be subject to an additional rate of $5 per day. Any guest staying at your site must be listed on the check-in form and all guests over the age of 18 must also sign our waiver and release of liability and indemnification agreement. Any of your guests who are not listed on the check-in form or who have not signed the waiver and release of liability and indemnification agreement (if applicable) will be considered trespassing and subject to eviction.
Speed limit: The speed limit within the campground and on the campground entrance drive is 5 MPH.

Trash: Please keep your site clear of all trash and debris. There is mountain wildlife in the area. Dispose of household trash only in the dumpster at the campground entrance drive. No appliances, tires, furniture, mattresses, L.P. bottles, hazardous materials, or building or demolition refuse may be disposed of on the premises.
Campfires: Campfires are allowed only when there are no existing burn bans in place. All fires must be contained within fire ring at your site and attended to at all times. There are 2 propane grills located in the campground for the general use of all campers.
Smoking: Outside smoking should be confined to your site unless prohibited by burn ban. Please completely put out butts and then dispose of them properly and safely.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to participate in the following activities on the premises:
Washing vehicles or trailers;
Conducting maintenance or repair work on vehicles or trailers;
Camping in tents outside of site with fully contained RV unit- fee applies;
Using vehicles/RVs not meeting RVIA codes and standards or our standards regarding cleanliness, upkeep, and needed repairs;
Storing personal property outside (please bring all food indoors at night);
Leaving minor children unattended anywhere on the premises at any time;
Trespassing on neighboring property; and
Engaging in or permitting any criminal activity, including illegal drug use, or drunken or
disorderly conduct (abusive language will not be tolerated).
Payment / Refunds: Payment is due at the time a reservation is made. Your payment is fully refundable, less a 10% administrative fee, until 7 days before your arrival date, at which time your payment becomes non-refundable.
Financial Responsibility: You are liable for your actions and the actions of your pets and your guests and are financially responsible for any damage caused by you, your pets, and your guests to the campground facilities. YOU AGREE to allow Rocking M Ranch Campground to charge your credit or debit card on file to cover the cost of repairs for damage caused by any of the foregoing persons and/or cleaning of excessive waste left at your site.

By completing a reservation, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the Rules &
Regulations of Rocking M Ranch Campground. I understand that if I have any questions or concerns about these policies, it is my responsibility to discuss them with the campground hosts or staff.


Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement


Assumption of the Risk: You are aware that a campground is a natural habitat with many
obvious and hidden dangers, and that camping has inherent risks associated with many
outside activities, especially at the rustic 10,000+-foot elevation setting where Rocking M Ranch Campground is located and wildlife is often present. By making a reservation, you acknowledge you will be voluntarily coming onto the premises and participating in camping activities with knowledge of the dangers involved and hereby agree to accept any and all risks to your person or property, including the risk of injury or death. You recognize that you have a duty to exercise reasonable care for your own safety and the protection of your property.
Waiver and Release: In consideration of your right to enter Rocking M Ranch Campground and participate in camping activities thereon on the reservation dates, you hereby waive, release, and discharge Rocking M Ranch Campground LLC and any of its members, officers, employees, agents (including volunteers), successors, and assigns, and property owners Lowell Morren and Julie Morren and their heirs, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liabilities, obligations, losses, damages, claims, penalties, causes of action, judgments, demands, costs, and expenses whatsoever arising out of any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by you or to any property belonging to you, whether caused by the negligence of any of the Released Parties or any third party, including fellow campers and their guests, while you are in or upon Rocking M Ranch Campground and/or participating in any activities thereon, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties and their insurance carriers from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees, that any of them may incur due to your presence in or upon Rocking M Ranch Campground.
Intent: It is your intent that this Waiver and Release of Liability and Indemnification
Agreement will bind the members of your family, including your spouse, and your estate,
heirs, successors, and assigns. It is also your intent to bind each and every minor guest who is coming onto the premises and participating in camping activities with you.
